During the session, the client typically lies comfortably on the treatment bed (similar to a massage table), facing down. Those who are unable to lie down may receive the treatment while sitting comfortably in a chair. For best results, the sound should be applied directly to the skin, but clients can also choose to be fully clothed during the treatment.
The sound is emitted through a lightweight applicator or through several speaker-like devices, applied directly on the surface of the skin, to specific areas of the body. The application is painless and non-invasive.
Yes. Cymatic therapy is performed by applying the sound directly to the surface of the skin. Any application through a wireless device can diminish or distort the quality of the sound and the effects of the treatment, therefore your physical presence is most recommended.
